Friends of Haiti,

This is a few days early but, considering what is about to happen in Haiti, it is needed.

By the time some of you get or see this, Hurricane Isaac will be right over Port Au Prince. For others it will have cleared the island. There are two areas of our ministry in this area. Bayelle, Belanger and Desca lay in the worst possible position, being on the upper right side of the storm, if the current projected path remains the same. This also includes the areas of the largest “tent” cities, which are on hill sides and in flood prone areas.

Steve already has tickets to go back September 7 and we are unsure what he will see and find. What we do know, just by the area all the schools and churches are in, it is going to be bad. Current predictions call for at least 75 mph winds and up to and possibly more than 20 inches of rain.

We know food is going to be needed. We know repairs to school and the churches will be needed and we pray there will be no injuries or deaths. We know ministry workers will have personal items destroyed if not their entire homes.

As you know, we don’t do this very often; very few times in the past years. But this is one of those times … if you can help financially, please consider it. If you can’t, Please pray for them.

Thank you for whatever you do.

Serving HIM together,

Steve and Terry
