Happy New Year!
From a ministry aspect, we couldn’t have expected any more in 2018, or really wanted anything differently. When we started HIM, at no time did we ever want to be a “large” ministry or all that goes with that — a payroll (other than those in Haiti), vehicles (other than our own), offices (ours is in our basement) — but we did want a ministry whose scope was large; but in it all, whatever God wanted to accomplish.
Small we are, without a doubt, but consider this:
Last year over 400 children were able to go to school, free. All those children were able to have a hot meal every day, along with their daily vitamins. Teachers in those four schools were able to have a monthly pay check, supporting not only their immediate family, but in most cases, their extended family as well. Two of the schools are also churches, and children who attend those schools are required to go to church, so they are learning about Jesus too.
We may say this too much, but without you and your help, none of this would be taking place. I think you know how Terry and I feel, but those in Haiti are eternally grateful.

The above picture is of one of the church Christmas services and of the choir singing. Below, one of the villages and one of the school Christmas parties.

Doesn’t look like much to us, but it’s a very big deal to them.
Thank you for everything you helped with in 2018. Both of us pray 2019 will be very good to all of you.
We love you,
Steve and Terry
